For decades, large energy buyers – manufacturers, data centers, hospitals, universities, commercial real estate groups, and logistics companies – have relied on traditional business energy procurement models that offer limited visibility into supplier pricing, embedded margins, and competitive market dynamics.
Power Synch was built to change that.
Power Synch enables enterprise buyers to source wholesale electricity through real-time competitive bidding – where multiple qualified suppliers compete on the buyer’s actual load, every bid is visible, and the buyer retains full control over pricing, timing, and contract structure.
This page presents the results of seven recent wholesale energy procurement events conducted through the Power Synch platform between March and May 2026.
Across 120,247 MWh of wholesale electricity procured through seven competitive bidding events spanning PJM and ERCOT markets, Power Synch’s platform generated $329,435.77 in documented savings – representing the difference between the highest and lowest qualified supplier bids on each position.

Competitive bidding delivers savings across all market conditions – not just volatile ones.
The natural assumption is that competitive bidding only matters when markets are swinging. The data tells a different story:
In tight-spread markets (PJM):
Even where the bid spread was under 3%, the volume-weighted impact was substantial. On the 20.4 MW ATC Penelec position, a $0.90/MWh difference across 45,023 MWh delivered $40,520 in savings. In traditional procurement, this position would likely have been quoted by one or two brokers – with no visibility into whether a better price existed.
In higher-volatility markets (ERCOT West Load Zone):
The impact of competitive tension becomes dramatic. On the 17 MW Off Peak position, the spread between highest and lowest bid reached $7.85/MWh – a 17.07% difference – resulting in $157,871 in savings on a single position. The 4 MW 5×8 position showed an even wider percentage spread at 19.70%.
The takeaway: Whether markets are tight or volatile, the act of creating genuine supplier competition surfaces better pricing than single-source or limited-bid procurement models.
The timing of these results is significant. Enterprise energy buyers are facing a convergence of pressures that make procurement model selection a strategic imperative:
In this environment, the difference between a traditional broker model and a transparent competitive bidding platform isn’t theoretical. It’s $329,000 across seven events.
Power Synch’s energy procurement platform enables enterprise buyers to:
The result: genuine price competition, full visibility, flexible contract structures, and documented savings on every procurement event.
“For the first time, we can see exactly what suppliers are bidding in real time and make decisions based on actual market competition – not a broker’s recommendation. Power Synch has put the buyer back in the driver’s seat.”
